Stewart Clark approached us with an idea of offering guided fishing trips in and around the sea, rivers and lochs of Ayrshire via a new website, this was a completely new venture for him and seen as an opportunity to turn his hobby into a method of earning extra money. Fishing is the most popular sporting activity in the UK with an estimated 3.3 million people participating in the sport on a regular basis. As you can imagine, the internet is littered with websites dedicated to the sport and getting the website placed in Google would be no mean feat. After careful consideration and analysis of this industry sector, we decided that the best way of tackling the issue was instead of offering everything on one page, the only method to give the site a fighting chance with search engine placement was to split everything off into their component parts. We were approached by the business owner to say they were moving into a new area of business which encompassed extreme cleaning / trauma cleaning and that they would like the existing site amending to reflect this. After careful consideration and analysis of this industry sector, we advised the owner we thought a separate site was a better idea and that we believed we could obtain good search engine placement.
